Meet the 2022 Helping Hand
Ambassador Quest Entrants
My name is Kiah Wicks. I relocated to Port Lincoln from Hobart Tasmania five years ago with my young family. I am raising awareness and funds for Mentally Fit Ep at the 2022 Helping Hand Tunarama Ambassadors Quest.
I am honoured to be representing my employer and sponsor, Southern Cross Austereo in the 2022 Tunarama Ambassador Quest in raising much needed funds and awareness for Mentally Fit EP. My chosen charity is one that is extremely close to my heart. I, just as many others have been subject to and affected by, anxiety and depression. An illness that is as non-discriminative as it is silent. I am endeavouring to silence the stigma around mental health within our community. Mentally Fit EP can be found on FB @MentallyFitEP
There has never been a more critical time to raise awareness for better mental health outcomes as we navigate our way through the Covid 19 pandemic. I look forward to the journey ahead and thank you in advance for your support.

Karen is super excited to be part of the Tunarama Quest for 2022. Her sponsor is Baldwin's Plumbing and Gas where she has previously been employed, and the charity she will be raising funds for the is the very worthy Royal Flying Doctor Service. I am the first senior entrant to join the Quest at 64 yrs young & I've been on the Eyre Peninsula almost 30 years.
RFDS has been able to assist many family and friends of mine over the years which is why I want to support them . There would not be too many people that have not had the need for their services. Being on the Eyre Peninsula we lack medical expertise and the RFDS is vital not just for emergencies. The Quest experience has been amazing and I am sure it will continue to be.
The Lincoln and EP communities are so supportive of all the entrants and we truly appreciate their help.

My name is Rachel Vella and I am so excited to be involved in the 2022 Tunarama Ambassador Quest. I joined the quest to be involved in something that is out of my comfort zone and to be actively involved in my community.
I am fundraising for and sponsored by Matthew Flinders Care Services to raise money to purchase a new wheelchair access bus. The purchase of a new bus will enable Matthew Flinders to continue to deliver essential supports in our community to reduce loneliness and social isolation well into our future. It is such a worthy cause and I am honoured to be representing Matthew Flinders Care Services. I would like to thank you in advance for any donations..

My name is Marlee Anderson and I'm very proud to be raising money for the Port Lincoln RSL sub-branch. As a veteran, I have a deeply personal understanding of the mental health needs of this community, which is why I decided to enter the Ambassador Quest to raise funds for, and awareness of, this very important cause.
I can't thank Sharmaine Day Skin Care enough for agreeing to be my sponsor. This Quest journey is proving to be such a rewarding one and I'm so pleased I put my hand up to be a part of it.
