The Tunarama Festival is as much as about you as it is about us!

There's heaps of ways to get involved, with events designed for

all ages and skill levels.  

Prizes are usually available for the top 3 place getters in each event.

Here's a list of the kinds of events that run throughout the Festival;

World Famous Tuna Toss - for adults 18+, mens & womens event

Salmon Toss - for young people aged 13 - 17, girls & boys event

Prawn Toss - for little tossers aged 8 - 12, girls & boys event

Bunnings Wooden Boat Building - family event. Build a wooden boat from scratch, then try & sail it around a short course

Watermelon Eating Competition - mixed event for kids

Prawn Peeling - ages 16 +, mixed speed peeling event

Keg Roll - teams of 4

Emergency Services Tug o War - teams from CFS, SES, Surf Lifesavers, SAPOL & SA Ambulance

Slippery Pole - shimmy along a greased pole, but make sure you don't fall in! For 13 - 17 year olds.

Swim Thru - are you the fastest over 500m or 1,000m?

1. Event entry is done via an online portal which will be activated approximately 2 months prior to the next Festival start date.

2. Entries must be made prior to the Festival and will not be taken on the day. This is a COVID-Safe management requirement.

3. Competitors must sign a competition waiver to enter any event. This protects you and the organisers should there be an accident.

The waiver will be emailed to you when you enter any event. You must sign it & bring it with you on the day to enter your chosen event.
