Port Lincoln Tunarama is one of the largest and most popular free regional festivals in Australia held over the Australia Day long weekend. 
It’s a family friendly Festival that attracts approximately 35,000 local, national & International visitors over the 5 days and is situated on the foreshore of Boston Bay which provides the backdrop as the
picturesque foreshore lawns of Port Lincoln are transformed into a bustling alley of stalls, sideshows and rides, with fun events, activities and competitions for all ages, showcasing our regions best seafood, art, music, people and surroundings.
The highlight of the whole 5 day jam packed festival is the internationally recognised & acclaimed World Championship Tuna Toss competition which sees both male and female competitors attempting to fling a fish weighing between eight and ten kilos as far as they can. People travel from all over the world to take part in this event which offers great cash prizes!
Port Lincoln offers a myriad of holiday ideas, from fishing and sailing, to diving with great white sharks and swimming among giant tuna, touring aquaculture industries and exploring the area's sheltered beaches and booming surf.
Also boasting the magnificent marina development, Lincoln Cove, it is home to the tuna fishing fleets of the Great Australian Bight.
