Listed below are all the ways you can get involved with Tunarama – such as becoming a financial member, join the committee, volunteers, enter into the street procession, performers, site holders and more.

Site Holders ~2018 Site Applications

Site application forms for the 2018 Tunarama Festival are now available. Please download and complete the 2018 Site Application Form to apply for your site at the 2018 Tunarama Festival.

 

Financial Membership

Port Lincoln Tunarama Inc would like to invite you to consider becoming a financial member for the 2018 Festival.

Membership fees are just $15 and this entitles you to nominate for the Tunarama Comittee if you choose, as well as have a say at the AGM, or it can just show your support for the continuation of the Festival. More Info

Costume Making Workshop

Come and join in the FREE costume making workshop for 2017 Tunarama Street Parade

Please note date change: now to be held Mid January 2017, will be a 2 day workshop with final dates to be confirmed. Volunteers

We are looking for volunteers to assist with the running of events and competitions at the 2017 Tunarama Festival. To get involved please complete a Volunteers Registration Form and return to our secretary Carolyne, email: Secretary756@gmail.com

Street Procession

The 2017 Port Lincoln Community Bank Street Procession will be held on Saturday 28th January at noon. Float registrations are required. Strictly no “on the day” registrations permitted.

One & All Youth Adventure Voyage

22-26 January 2017

This voyage will sail during the January school holidays. This is a great opportunity for an
adverture during the holidays and to participate in a community event on the Eyre Peninsula.

Depart Port Adelaide 22 January 2017
Arrive Port Lincoln 26 January 2017
Maximum for this voyage 24 passengers. Age to sail 15-19 years. Excludes travel to or from voyage departure locations.

Performers

Live musicians, roving artists and children’s entertainers.  Applications to perform at a future Tunarama Festival may be made by completing 2017 Performers Application and sending it to us.

Tunarama Ambassador Quest

The Tunarama Ambassador Quest is a platform for personal development. Entrants experience an increase in personal growth and confidence, while making a meaningful and positive impact in the community. Throughout the quest each entrant raises funds for their chosen charitiy or not-for-profit organisation based within the Eyre Peninsula of South Australia.

Tunarama Sports Person of the year

Tunarama Sports Person of the Year

These awards are presented as part of the Australia Day Celebrations organised by the Port Lincoln City Council.

General Competition Entries

Please note that all event registrations will be taken from the Festival Information Booth in the centre of the Festival Grounds, only on the day of each event. Most events have limited entries available. Events accept registrations at the Information Booth up to 30 minutes prior to the event, but will only last until the required number of entrants has been filled, so please be early to avoid disappointment. Check the programme for further details on each event and be advised that some events require the signing of waivers.
