The highlight of the Festival is the famous Tuna Toss competition. ‘Have a go’ at tossing a tuna for your chance to win the Tuna Toss World Championship. Competitors travel from around the globe to see who can throw these 10Kg fish the farthest. With big cash rewards and a unique trophy, this is one item for anyone’s bucket list. Held in the Tuna Toss arena. Entries are free but strictly limited places so get your registrations in early at the registration booth on the foreshore. Teams of two people will spend 2 hours crafting a boat to enter into a race just 4 short hours later. Some serious prizes available along with some serious fun. Calling all 11- 15 year olds to come and have a go at being the Salmon Toss Champion. The Salmon Toss is set to be a competitive event, these kids may come back to be our future Tuna Toss world champions! Strictly Limited entries. Test your grip and see how far you can slide along the slippery pole. Entrants 12 to 17 years. This unique locally-designed pole has a few tricks up its sleeve, it’s definitely not as easy as it looks. Those that make it to the end have to get back somehow, after they turn around that is.

The 2019 Port Lincoln Community Bank Street Procession will be held on Saturday 26th January at 12 noon. Float registrations are required, entry forms available online late 2019.
