Amy Reid

My name is Amy Reid, I am 22 years old and have grown up and lived in Port Lincoln my whole life.  My sponsor is The Custom Kitchen Company, a local, family owned business. I am raising money for Centacare Port Lincoln.

My passion is the outdoors and the ocean.  I enjoy going camping, fishing and swimming and in my spare time I find entertainment in four wheel driving and spending time outdoors with my friends.  Port Lincoln is an amazing place to live, being able to enjoy the above activities all year around whilst also being part of a safe and caring community.
I have travelled around Australia several times with my Mum, Dad, younger brother and sister. We would often pack up the campervan and car, take a term off school and travel for up to 4 months.

This experience taught me many life skills including how to interact and communicate with people from different walks of life and it broadened my knowledge of other cultures.

I completed all my schooling at St Josephs School in Port Lincoln. After graduating in 2005, I have worked in several local businesses as a receptionist and sales representative. For the past 2 years I have worked as the Administration Officer at The Custom Kitchen Company. I enjoy interaction with customers and working as part of a successful business.

I hope to improve my self confidence, gain life skills and give something back to the community by participating in the Quest.

Thank you.
Amy Reid
