Breanna Price

Hello, my name is Breanna Price but I’m known to my family and friends as Brea.

Six years ago our family made a sea change and relocated from Adelaide to Louth Bay; a small town North of Port Lincoln. Immediately we loved the safety and tranquility of this small community.

In 2009 I completed year 12 and was fortunate enough to have Terri Christensen, a Board Member of Port Lincoln Bendigo Community Bank, as my mentor. And there began another chapter of my life.

I now work at the Port Lincoln Bendigo Community Bank, and have learnt so much in the time I have been here. I work with wonderful colleagues and we share a terrific work environment.

Recently, my Branch Manager Phil Channon approached me and asked if I would consider entering the 2011 Tunarama Quest.  After much consideration I decided to accept the challenge and endeavor to support a charity to the best of my ability. I also wanted to give something back to a community that has been so good to me.

As Miss Bendigo Bank. I’m proud to be associated with the Port Lincoln and Cummins Bendigo Community Banks as their banking ethics are about the “Community”, and working together for the betterment of our community. And this is what Tunarama is all about, the fundraising goes hand in hand with the role of Quest Entrants and supporting their local community.

I’m very pleased to represent the local Make-A-Wish® Australia branch and the money raised will remain in our local community.  Make-A-Wish® Australia brings joy to children with life-threatening illnesses, by granting their most cherished wishes.

I’d like to take some time to thank my sponsors, colleagues, committee and the many individuals and businesses who are supporting me on my journey.  This is a busy and exciting time and I’m grateful to you all.

I wish everyone associated with Tunarama a very successful 50th Anniversary in 2011.
